Where you will work
Ekhöjden is a star-rated special housing facility with a focus on both somatic and dementia care. The majority of the places are for residents with dementia.

Forenede Care operates the care and housing facility Forenede Care Ekhöjden on behalf of Sundbyberg Municipality. The facility offers 65 apartments to people with dementia and those with extensive care needs. It is located approximately 2 km from Sundbyberg center, directly opposite Solvalla, in a beautiful natural area.

Here, you will become part of a positive and learning culture with managers who support and develop you in your role as a nursing assistant and in your development at Forenede Care. You are our most important resource and grow together with us.

In the role of nursing assistant, you work with care and support based on the customer's wishes, in accordance with assistance decisions, and always with a strong focus on quality. You assist with personal hygiene, meal preparation and serving, respond to alarms, and provide social interaction. Social interaction is a vital part of our work to ensure all our residents can live life to the fullest. This can range from chatting, playing games, going on outings, taking a bike ride, or finding fun activities to do together. You also perform delegated tasks from licensed staff, such as medication administration and training.

Job Description

We are currently looking for a colleague for a part-time night shift, a permanent position with a probationary period, with an employment rate of 67.44%, start date by agreement.

To be considered for the position, you need:

• A certificate from the National Board of Health and Welfare as a nursing assistant
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written

We also consider it an advantage if you have previous experience in elderly care and dementia care.

To thrive in this role, you are engaged and care about your fellow human beings, while being skilled at building good relationships and being service-oriented. We work both in teams and independently, so it is important that you are comfortable in this environment.

Before we offer employment, you must provide an unopened extract from the police criminal record. We also require a valid Swedish work permit, such as a passport or an approved work permit from the Swedish Migration Agency.
