At Norlandia Elderly Care, we are looking for a nurse who wants to work full-time/part-time during the summer, either for the entire season or part of it, at Sirishof and Skäpplandsgården nursing homes in Örebro. What does the job as a nurse at Norlandia Elderly Care involve?

As a nurse at Norlandia Elderly Care, you are a valuable key person responsible for ensuring that our residents' healthcare needs are met. An important part of the job is also to support, mentor, and train other care staff, and to be a good role model for your colleagues.

You work with care in everything you do, taking great personal responsibility, and have the ability to prioritize and lead others even in changing circumstances. Flexibility and collegial cooperation are of great importance in this role.

About Sirishof and Skäpplandsgården Nursing Homes

Sirishof is centrally located next to Örebro City Park, which offers beautiful walking paths. Close proximity to grocery stores and restaurants. The facility consists of seven units, three of which are for people with dementia.

Skäpplandsgården is located next to Haga Center, which offers grocery stores, restaurants, pharmacies, etc. The facility consists of three units, two of which are for people with dementia.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for someone with a big heart and a desire to make a difference. You enjoy working with people and have a strong sense of service. You collaborate easily with others and have a good ability to adapt your communication to the recipient. As a nurse in elderly care, you will have the opportunity to take significant personal responsibility, which requires professional competence, prioritization skills, and flexibility.

• We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse.
• You have previous experience as a nurse in a nursing home.
• Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written, is required.
• We would appreciate if you have good computer skills and system knowledge.
• You must have a category B driver's license (automatic transmission).

Additional Information

Employment type: Summer temporary position with the possibility of immediate permanent employment

Scope: Full-time, part-time, or hourly employment

Start date: Immediately or by agreement

We offer individual salary setting and have a collective agreement. Interviews are conducted continuously, and the position may be filled before the application deadline. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

In the event of employment, you must be able to provide a certificate from the Swedish Police Authority (extract from the record of offenses). You must also be able to prove that you have the right to work in Sweden, by showing EU/EEA citizenship or a valid work permit.
