The Staffing Center is a municipal operation responsible for Huddinge Municipality's substitute management within its own organization. Our mission is to staff and recruit hourly substitutes for various operations within functional support and elderly care during short-term absences such as illness, vacation, or education.

We are currently looking for summer substitutes for our elderly residences in central Huddinge. The residences are named Västergården, Björnkulla, Tallgården, and Rosendalsgården. All are located a short distance from Huddinge Center and are easily accessible by bus or car. Rosendalsgården has places for people with somatic ailments, while our other residences have places for both people with somatic illness and dementia.

The responsibilities include meeting our residents' individual needs for care, support, and activities. You treat the residents with respect, focusing on making them feel safe and involved in their care. The role also includes medication management after delegation from a nurse.

Your Profile

To be considered for the work, you must be available to work during the summer (June, July, August). We are looking for you who are available for substitute work with a monthly schedule for at least 4 consecutive weeks during this period. We will also need hourly substitutes who can work as needed during both spring and summer. As an hourly substitute, you need to be available at least three days a week and be able to step in with short notice. Whether you wish to work on a schedule or be an hourly substitute, you need to be available for introduction two days during the spring.

Our operations are open 24/7, so it is important that you can work varying hours that may occur during the day and evening, or night, both weekdays and weekends. Since you work at different times of the day, high demands are placed on flexibility.

You who apply for the position have experience working in elderly care, preferably from work in elderly residences. It is an advantage if you are trained as an assistant nurse and have work experience with dementia and medication delegation.

The job places high demands on initiative, teamwork, and problem-solving. You need to be confident in yourself and comfortable working with people who are in great need of continuity, structure, and care. We are looking for you who have a professional attitude characterized by a good view of humanity and good treatment.

You master the Swedish language well in speech and writing.

Good computer skills are required as documentation is done on a computer.
