About Viljan Solviken

Viljan Solviken is a supported housing facility (HVB) for adults with intellectual disabilities and/or dual diagnoses. We are a secure residence where we offer our residents individually tailored support. Here, a team of psychiatrists, doctors, nurses, rehabilitation teams, nursing assistants, and care assistants work together with the management group to make a real, positive difference in the life of every individual.

We look forward to welcoming two new nurses to our wonderful team!

About the role

Viljan Solviken is a facility in constant development with close collaboration between all roles in the team. We actively strive to continuously develop and improve together.

As a nurse at Solviken, you will have a varied job with changing tasks where you work on an individual basis according to the patient's condition. The target group is between 25 and 75 years old. As a nurse, you contribute to increasing the quality of life for the residents, make assessments, and make decisions about actions in acute situations. The work is independent, while you have access to many competent colleagues in our nursing networks.

The nurses are led by the Operations Manager (HSL), who is also a trained nurse, and together they drive the care work at the unit.

MAS (Municipal Adult Services) is available regionally, and we have collaboration teams with other nursing assistants (SSK) from similar companies within the organization.

You plan and lead rounds that take place regularly with psychiatrists on site. Similarly, regular rounds with doctors take place.

You have close collaboration with Nära Vård (Primary Care) and the rehabilitation team, who visit us regularly.

As a nurse at Viljan Solviken, you have close contact with both patients and the team. To thrive with us, you need to enjoy daily contact with your patients, be part of the work group, and lead and distribute the HSL work with a learning and supervisory approach towards the staff group.

As a nurse, you are also responsible for standard tasks such as administering and ensuring medication management at the unit. You also drive projects aimed at strengthening care, work in the quality management system, and other relevant quality systems, such as Senior Alert.

Qualifications

You are a licensed nurse and preferably have experience from the target group.

Our work always starts from the needs of our residents, so personal suitability is therefore of great importance. As a person, you are responsible, independent, humble, and engaged with the ability to prioritize. You are motivated by creating high-quality care together with your colleagues for those who live with us. You are not unfamiliar with having close patient contact and actively supporting the team as a whole. Wanting to see new opportunities and perspectives is important for our patients, where you, as the responsible nurse, need to formulate the goals with each individual patient. There is ample space for supportive conversations and health talks, which are offered to our residents.

Requirements
  • Licensed Nurse
  • Category B Driver's License
  • Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written
Meritorious
  • Trained District Nurse and/or Psychiatric Nurse
  • Experience from working with dual diagnoses
  • Work within private care
