We at ICA Kvantum Karlsson in Svedala are now looking for an engaged and knowledgeable Meat Department Assistant (Kött 2:a) for our meat department. The role involves providing important support to the department manager and actively participating in daily operations.

As a Meat Department Assistant, you are a key person in the meat department and work operationally with production, butchery, and sales. At our store, we work with Swedish meat that we butcher in-store ourselves, which requires professional skill, precision, and a genuine interest in the craft.

You are involved in ensuring that the department maintains high quality, is well-stocked, and inspiring for our customers. You work closely with the department manager and other colleagues in the fresh food section, where you jointly drive sales, quality, and customer experience.

The role involves both independent work and teamwork, with a focus on craftsmanship, efficiency, and pride in daily work.

The position is a full-time role of 38.25 hours per week, with a start date of September 1st or as agreed.

• Experience working in a meat department or similar

• Experience in butchery is highly meritorious

• Good understanding of food hygiene and quality

• Ability to work at a high pace while maintaining precision
