At Norrskenet, we strive to strengthen, improve, and develop our operations to become the best possible version of Norrskenet. We value our important role as the patient's often first and closest contact with healthcare, and we are proud of our family-like atmosphere, our fantastic staff team, our short decision-making paths, and our presence in rural areas. We are now looking for a new Rehabilitation Coordinator to join our small team!
About Us
Norrskenet Health Centre is a complete health centre located in Vittangi, with branches in Kiruna, Svappavaara, and Karesuando. The branch in Kiruna is our largest workplace, where we have doctors, nurses, a rehabilitation department/paramedics, as well as child and maternal health services.
Together, we work daily to offer the best possible care and accessibility for our approximately 7,000 registered patients. We work systematically to develop our working methods and create good structure and efficiency in our work. Our most important focus is patient safety and the quality of care we provide. We like to be close to our patients even though distances are large, so digital solutions are a natural part of our daily lives.
Who You Are / Qualifications
Professional Requirements: You are a licensed healthcare professional and trained as a Rehabilitation Coordinator (Rehab Coordinator), or have a strong interest in training in this field.
We are looking for a team player who is happy to take on the captain's role. You enjoy your work and feel energy and joy in your profession. You see the benefit of working together with others and like being the hub of the network. Engagement and responsibility are prerequisites. Your own drive to facilitate things for both the patient and the healthcare team forms the basis of your independent working style, and you are able to juggle multiple cases in parallel.
You have good knowledge of Swedish in both speech and writing. Knowledge of Finnish, Meänkieli, and/or Sami is positive but not a requirement.
What We Offer You
With us, you become part of a small and close-knit work team with short decision-making paths. You will have a meaningful and varied job with significant responsibility and opportunities to engage in improvement projects. We have an open climate where ideas and initiatives are welcome, and feedback is seen as a prerequisite for development. Above all, you will meet fantastic patients and countless warm encounters to keep in your heart! We also offer a 5,000 SEK wellness allowance and the possibility of remote work for part of the time.
Job Responsibilities
As a Rehab Coordinator, you are a support for the patient and a resource for the healthcare team during sick leave or risk of sick leave. You are responsible for coordinating rehabilitation efforts internally and externally through collaboration with actors such as the Swedish Social Insurance Agency, employers, etc. The goal of the role is to facilitate return to work. You also contribute to developing the health centre's structure regarding the sick leave and rehabilitation process and participate in a collaboration group with the region's other Rehab Coordinators.
If you wish to fill your employment with more hours, work within your core profession may become an option.
Kiruna
There is a promotional film for Kiruna that starts with “Kiruna – it’s not the end of the world – it’s way beyond,” which is telling for the municipality. With a mix of wit and factual reality, Kiruna is not in between; Kiruna is high up in space and far down under the ground, infinite light and magical darkness, majestic mountain slopes and extensive views, challenging conditions and energizing meetings with nature, and above all, something you won't find anywhere else.
