About Us

Norrskenet Health Centre is a complete health centre in Vittangi with branches in Kiruna, Svappavaara, and Karesuando. The branch in Kiruna is our largest workplace, where we have doctors, nurses, a rehabilitation department/paramedics, as well as child and maternal healthcare.

Together, we work daily to offer the best possible care and accessibility for our approximately 7,000 registered patients. We work systematically to develop our working methods and create good structure and efficiency in our work. Our most important focus is patient safety and the quality of care we provide. Who You Are / Qualifications

Professional Requirement: Licensed District Nurse/Nurse, preferably with experience in primary care and leadership.

You have strong personal drive and a desire to develop and improve processes, while remaining humble regarding the task and everyone's different circumstances. You function well in a group, are open to others' viewpoints, and can shift focus when needed. Handling stressful situations is something you solve with ease, and you have the ability to see the big picture while also highlighting important details. You have a strong sense of responsibility, a solution-oriented approach to work, and a passion for high healthcare quality, high patient safety, and a good atmosphere in the work group.

Job Responsibilities

You have personnel responsibility for your group and become an important part of the daily operations of the business, from scheduling for the nurses to functional flows between professional categories. You sit on the operational leadership group where you, together with the other three section managers and the business manager, ensure that work functions as well as possible. You act as a link and convey information between your staff group and the leadership in both directions. You have the mandate to make smaller decisions yourself for your own group and larger decisions jointly in the leadership group.

Your position also includes some clinical work, which means that you, to a certain extent, participate in the daily work with reception visits, telephone reception/booking, digital patient contacts, as well as collaboration with the municipality and the region, similar to our other section managers. You will mainly work in our operations in Kiruna, but shifts at other units occur. As a resident of Kiruna, you commute by bus or company car during working hours.
