As a property maintenance technician at our client Nyköpingshem, you will be part of the operations and service group, responsible for maintenance, repairs, and minor improvement works in multi-family housing. This position is a summer temporary assignment from May 4th to August 28th. The role is suitable for you if you enjoy practical work, are service-oriented and solution-focused, and want to contribute to safe and well-maintained living environments.

Your responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and corrective repairs in apartments and common areas
• Carpentry, painting, and minor plumbing and electrical work within the scope of assigned tasks
• Change locks, replace fixtures, adjust doors, seal windows, and address minor water damage and leaks
• Process fault reports and service cases, and document completed work in the system
• Communicate with tenants regarding service cases in a respectful and clear manner
• Collaborate with building caretakers and other professional groups as needed to ensure measures are taken
• Follow occupational health and safety routines and contribute to order and structure in tools and materials

Your profile

• Practical experience in property maintenance or craftsmanship, such as carpentry, painting, plumbing, or electrical work (basic knowledge is sufficient)
• Service-oriented and solution-focused with good communication skills in Swedish, both verbal and written
• Detail-oriented, responsible, and accustomed to working both independently and in a team
• Basic computer literacy to register assignments and document work in the system
• A valid driver's license (Category B) is meritorious as some assignments may require driving between properties
• Follows safety regulations and has a safe working approach considering both your own and others' working environment
