As a traveling Service Engineer/Technician, you are responsible for carrying out both planned and urgent service interventions at customer sites. The work includes servicing, repairing, and maintaining advanced machinery. You base your work from home and plan your assignments yourself in dialogue with recurring customers, where you are also responsible for booking and coordinating interventions.

In the role, you work broadly with technical areas such as mechanics, hydraulics, PLC, control systems, and electrical power. After completing assignments, you document the work and handle the ordering of spare parts in consultation with the Service Manager. You also act as an advisor to customers regarding service needs, components, and improvement measures. Travel is a natural part of the job, primarily within Sweden but also in the rest of Scandinavia, and you are expected to occasionally conduct training for customers.

Requirements:

• Experience in servicing, maintenance, or assembly of large machinery or similar equipment

• Broad technical competence in mechanics, hydraulics, PLC, control systems, and/or electrical power

• Ability to work independently and plan your own work

• Valid driver's license (Category B)

• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

• Ability to work at heights

• Willingness to travel and stay overnight for work (approx. 2–3 days per week)

Meritorious qualifications:

• Technical basic education

• Experience working with heavy or large machinery

• Post-secondary or university education in a relevant field

• Employment type: Full-time

• Location: Flexible, work is based from home (Central/Northern Sweden or Eastern Sweden).

• Start: According to agreement

• Travel: Approx. 2–3 days per week, with overnight stays as needed

• Compensation: Monthly salary with overtime pay, travel allowances
