SÄVE Hyrmaskiner Sverige AB operates in Gothenburg, Malmö, and Sölvesborg, among other places. We primarily work with the rental of:

• Work platforms
• Construction hoists
• Lifts

Our products are rented to customers throughout Scandinavia, primarily within the construction and industrial sectors.

About the Role of Service Technician

As a Service Technician at SÄVE Hyrmaskiner, you will become an important part of a strong and cohesive team consisting of depot managers, project managers, foremen, fitters, and service technicians.

The work involves maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and documenting work related to SÄVE Hyrmaskiner's rental products. You will work both internally at the depot and externally at our customers' various projects.

The role suits you if you are solution-oriented, technically knowledgeable, and enjoy varied workdays. You need to be able to communicate professionally with both colleagues and customers, and you should have a strong drive for service, quality, and development.

We are looking for you who have the attitude of always wanting to get better and who take responsibility for getting things done from start to finish.

Responsibilities

As a Service Technician, you will among other things work with:

1. Performing preventive service and maintenance of machines at the depot.
2. Conducting delivery and receiving inspections of machines leaving and returning to the depot.
3. Troubleshooting and repairing machine faults at customer job sites.
4. Supporting foremen and fitters in ongoing projects and contributing to project plans being followed according to SÄVE Hyrmaskiner's project frameworks.
5. Registering repairs, service actions, and material orders.
6. Holding dialogue with customers at job sites and contributing technical knowledge, service, and problem-solving.
7. Working proactively and developmentally with internal processes to help the depot team perform better and develop.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who have a genuine interest in machines, technology, and service. You have either relevant vocational education or good experience with similar tasks.

You need to be able to handle multiple tasks in parallel, but also have the ability to prioritize correctly and drive the work all the way to completion.

Customer contact is an important part of the role. Therefore, we would appreciate it if you enjoy communicating via phone, email, and digital booking or business systems.

Requirements

To apply for the position, you must have:

• Driver's license class B
• Good knowledge of Swedish and/or English
• Electrical education
• Electrical competence BB1 or equivalent

Merits

It is meritorious if you have:

• Experience with climbing platforms, construction hoists, or lifts
• Experience with assembly work related to similar machines
• Experience with troubleshooting, service, or repair of machines in construction and industry
• Experience from similar machines found in SÄVE Hyrmaskiner's assortment
• Experience from previous coordinating roles
• Knowledge of or experience from the construction industry
