We are now looking for a Mechanical Designer for one of our clients.

About the assignment
In this role, you will work with mechanical design in a project-driven business, contributing to both new development and the improvement of existing solutions. You will collaborate closely with other functions such as production and project management and be involved throughout the entire development chain.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Create assembly and detailed designs in CAD and PLM systems.
• Work with product improvements and changes in existing designs.
• Contribute to the development of methods, processes, and working practices.
• Support production during construction and make necessary adjustments.
• Participate in feasibility studies and support the sales organization with technical solution proposals.
• Prepare test documents, work instructions, and control documentation.

Requirements:

• Technical background from upper secondary school, college, or university, or equivalent experience.
• Good knowledge of mechanical design.
• Experience with CAD tools, such as Inventor, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Good proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
• Experience equivalent to level 3–4 (approx. 4–12 years of experience) in mechanical design or similar tasks.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in driving projects.
• Previous experience from the defense or aviation industry.
• Experience working in PDM/PLM systems.
• Basic understanding of electrical/electronics (for work in integrated products).
