This role involves overall responsibility for building and further developing a common platform for computer modules to be used in various types of systems within a company specializing in technologically advanced product development.

The platform is being developed from scratch and will serve as the foundation for several product variants. The work spans electronics, firmware, and operating systems, with a focus on ensuring these components interact in a stable and long-term sustainable solution. In this role, you will have significant technical and strategic influence. You will be involved from the early stages and follow the development through the entire lifecycle, providing a holistic view of the technology. As a System Architect, you are responsible for defining, documenting, and maintaining the platform's architecture.

Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Gathering requirements from various parts of the business and translating them into technical specifications.
• Developing and documenting the system architecture for the platform.
• Defining how components within electronics, embedded software, and operating systems should interact.
• Serving as technical support to development teams during the development phase.
• Identifying and resolving technical challenges, adjusting requirements and architecture as needed.
• Ensuring clear interfaces between different parts of the system.
• Reviewing designs and solutions at the system level with a focus on the big picture and quality.
• Ensuring traceability between requirements, design, implementation, and testing.
• Contributing to the platform's long-term roadmap and technical development.

• University degree or Master of Science in Engineering in a relevant field.
• Several years of experience in system architecture within embedded systems.
• Good understanding of the interaction between hardware, firmware, and operating systems.
• Experience with requirements engineering and technical system design.
• Experience working closely with development teams in areas such as embedded systems, electronics, or software.
• Proficiency in documenting systems and ensuring traceability.
