💼 Responsibilities

As a desk officer, you work in a central support function, often referred to as the desk, where you support daily operations within transport and logistics flows. The role involves relieving booking officers, traffic managers, and freight forwarders by handling cases, customer inquiries, and administrative tasks related to transport.

This role suits you if you thrive in a service-oriented, structured, and event-driven environment where the pace is occasionally high. As a desk officer, you will among other things:

• Be the first point of contact for customers and internal functions via phone and email
• Handle and follow up on cases related to ongoing transports
• Answer questions regarding delivery status, bookings, and minor discrepancies
• Support booking and traffic functions with administrative and operational assistance
• Coordinate information between the customer, operational operations, and other internal teams
• Work in various business and transport systems

🔍 Education, experience, and personal qualities

• Good computer skills
• Good knowledge of Swedish as well as English, both spoken and written
• Service experience, e.g., from customer service
• Meritorious with experience of a similar role/interest within the logistics industry
