Hägersten-Älvsjö Home Care provides municipal home care services in the district.

The staff is divided into 7 work teams operating in different geographical areas. The unit consists of approximately 180 employees who work day, evening, night, and weekends.

Job Description

Within home care, you work with our clients in their own homes and support them with the tasks they have been approved for. During your shift, you travel between clients' homes by walking, cycling, or driving. You usually perform the care tasks in the homes yourself, but you are part of a team. You are to provide good nursing care and social support to our clients according to decisions made by the social services case worker. You should help and support clients in their daily lives. The client's participation and self-determination are in focus to create security and enable aging in place.

You should maintain good contact with relatives and other actors. You will review implementation plans and social documentation.

When working in home care, you need to be prepared for pets to be present in the client's home. Your personal qualities are important to us! Your work should reflect the municipality's core values: security, dignity, and self-determination. We place great emphasis on you having social competence and a positive attitude towards working with people.

Qualifications

We are looking for you who:

• Have good ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish.
• Have experience using IT as a support in everyday life.
• Have a high school education within nursing programs or equivalent education.
• Have experience documenting and reviewing implementation plans.

It is meritorious if you have:

• Previous experience working in healthcare.
• A B-class driver's license and driving experience.
