About the role

As a Construction Project Manager at Förbo, you hold a central and responsible role where you lead and drive primarily renovation projects, but also new production projects based on the company's needs according to the new production plan, from early stages to final result. You are responsible for the overall project: economy, time, quality, and coordination, with a strong focus on dialogue, collaboration, and sustainable solutions.

The role involves work in the planning, design, and production phases. A key part of the assignment is to create good communication and security for our tenants throughout the entire project. You will become a key person in our property development team and work closely with colleagues, consultants, contractors, and tenants. Your direct manager is the Head of Property Development.

Your responsibilities

In the role of Construction Project Manager, you will among other things:

• Lead and drive renovation projects and, if necessary, new production projects from early stages to final result
• Be responsible for the project's economy, time, quality, contracts, and technical requirements
• Work in the planning, design, and production phases and follow up on handover
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with tenants and ensure good information and security throughout the project
• Collaborate closely with internal departments to ensure good communication and a holistic perspective
• Procure and coordinate consultants and contractors
• Prepare and follow up on calculations, project economics, and handle additional work (ÄTA)
• Contribute to the development of working methods and processes within the construction and renovation operations

Your profile

We are looking for someone who has:

• A relevant academic degree or construction technical education
• At least 3-5 years of experience in project management of renovation and new production housing projects
• Good knowledge of project economics, follow-up, and costing
• Experience working in the production phase, preferably with a focus on housing renovation
• Experience in procurement, knowledge of LOU (Public Procurement Act) is an advantage
• Category B driver's license and access to a car are required, as travel between our residential areas is part of the role.

As a person, you are structured, driven, and confident in your working methods. You thrive in a role with much collaboration and dialogue and have a good ability to communicate clearly and listen attentively – especially in contact with tenants. You build trusting relationships both internally and externally and have a genuine interest in properties, technical development, and sustainable solutions, with a customer-oriented approach in everything you do.
