We are now looking for a Production Manager for a business in Enköping, a role for you who wants to work close to the operational activities while contributing to development and improvement over time.

About the role
As Production Manager, you are responsible for ensuring that daily operations run according to plan. This entails operational responsibility for production, employees, and delivery, with a focus on productivity, quality, safety, and efficiency. You lead the work close to the operations and ensure that the team has the right prerequisites to achieve set goals. Through clear structure, prioritization, and follow-up, you create stability in the daily work. When challenges arise, you are expected to act, make decisions, and drive the work forward until a solution is in place.

The role also involves leading an organization in change, where you drive and implement development initiatives that strengthen working methods, flows, and results over time.

The role requires a present leadership style where you are an active part of the operations and contribute to creating engagement, responsibility, and a functioning workday.

You work continuously with follow-up and improvements in production, focusing on developing working methods, streamlining flows, and ensuring stable delivery over time. The role also involves close collaboration with other functions within the business.

Your responsibilities

• Lead and distribute the daily work in production
• Ensure that delivery meets set goals regarding productivity, quality, and safety
• Create structure in daily work through planning, staffing, and follow-up
• Monitor operations through KPIs and act in case of deviations
• Ensure correct staffing and resource planning based on needs
• Drive and implement improvement and development projects
• Work actively with occupational health and safety issues
• Build well-functioning teams, develop, and follow up on employees
• Collaborate with adjacent functions to ensure a functioning flow

Who are you?
You have experience working in an operational environment and have taken steps into a leadership role where structure, clarity, and follow-up are central. The leadership is characterized by close work with the team and the ability to create conditions for the work to function in practice, even during change. When something does not work, you act, take responsibility, and drive the work forward. Your working style is structured with a good ability to prioritize in a daily life where the pace varies. Communication is used to create clarity and engagement in the team. The role suits you if you want to be close to the operations, develop your leadership skills, and contribute to driving change and improvement over time.

Your background

• Experience from operational activities within logistics, warehousing, or production
• Experience of team leading or a first leadership role
• Proficiency in working with follow-up and KPIs
• Experience in change management or improvement initiatives
• Experience in staffing and planning in operations
• Good communication skills
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
