Expression of Interest for Traffic Launch in Uppsala 2026

In preparation for the traffic launch on November 2, 2026, Västanhede Traffic in Uppsala is looking for you who are interested in working as a service driver within service traffic.

We want to get in touch with future employees who wish to help build the operations together with us. The positions may involve full-time, part-time, or needs-based employment depending on the operational requirements.

About the Role

As a service driver at Västanhede, you will meet people of different ages and with different needs. We perform trips within school transport, dial-a-ride (färdtjänst), and medical transport, where safety, service, and professional treatment are in focus.

We assist passengers in and out of the vehicles and use aids such as stair climbers or stretchers for certain trips. The traffic runs during all hours of the day, and our trips take us both within and outside the county borders, from private homes to healthcare facilities and schools.

We are looking for you who

To thrive in the role of service driver, we believe you are service-oriented, responsible, and social. You have a good ability to meet people where they are in life, from children to pensioners.

The work involves active effort, where aids such as stair climbers and stretchers are used for certain assignments, which presupposes that you are not afraid to help out where needed.

To be considered for the position, you need:

• A valid taxi driver's license
• Good command of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Flexibility and a good attitude towards customers

Training and driver certification will be conducted before the traffic launch for drivers who become relevant for assignments.
