About the Employer

Åkeri AB John Andersson is an established transport company based in Uppsala. With a fleet of approximately 30 trucks, we carry out transports for customers within the construction, infrastructure, and industrial sectors. Job Responsibilities

• Drive truck-trailer combinations or concrete mixers according to planned assignments.
• Transport materials and goods in a safe and efficient manner.
• Perform daily inspection and control of vehicles.
• Follow current traffic, environmental, and safety regulations.
• Maintain contact with customers, foremen, and transport management.

Requirements

• C or CE driver's license.
• Valid Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC/YKB).
• Valid digital tachograph card.
• Experience with heavy truck traffic.
• Good knowledge of Swedish.

Merits

• Experience with truck-trailer combinations.
• Experience with concrete mixers.
• Certificate for Work on the Road.
• Mechanical aptitude.

Employment Terms

• Salary and other allowances according to the current collective agreement with the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
• Per diem allowances according to agreement in case of overnight stays.
• Varying working hours including day, evening, and night shifts.
• Weekend work occurs on certain assignments and is scheduled accordingly.
• Overnight stays in the vehicle may occur depending on the assignment.
