Valora Staffing is now looking for an experienced interim manager for the role of Unit Manager for the legal department at a client in Stockholm.

About the assignment

• Scope: 100%
• Assignment period: 2026-06-15 – 2027-03-27
• Location: Stockholm (Bromma)
• Start: By agreement, but no later than June 15, 2026
• Working hours: 07:30–16:00 with flexible working hours available
• Work is primarily on-site, with some possibility of remote work

About the role

The assignment involves acting as the acting Unit Manager for a legal unit within a company-wide support function.

The unit consists of 8 employees:

• 5 lawyers
• 2 claims adjusters
• 1 board and committee secretary

The unit is located within the finance department and provides legal support in areas such as:

• Water and wastewater legislation
• Environmental law
• Procurement and contract law
• Construction law
• Municipal law and corporate law

Tasks and responsibilities

As Unit Manager, you are responsible for:

• Leading, distributing, and developing work within the unit
• Ensuring quality in legal assessments
• Being responsible for budget, forecasts, and financial follow-up
• Participating in the finance department's management group

The role also includes operational work, such as:

• Handling cases for the board and committees
• Issues within municipal and corporate law
• Handling public documents, transparency, and confidentiality
• Formal processes related to the board and committees
• Handling tort claims

Requirements

We are looking for someone who has:

• A law degree
• At least 3 years of experience as a manager with personnel responsibility
• Experience from the public sector
• Experience working with public documents, transparency, and confidentiality

Merits:

• Experience within water/wastewater or waste management operations
• Experience in purchasing and procurement
