WeStaff Sweden is currently seeking a CNC Operator with experience in sheet metal processing for a modern and technically advanced industrial operation in northern Stockholm.

Here, you will work in a quality-driven production environment focusing on sheet metal, often in stainless steel, manufacturing components in small to medium-sized series for an international market.

About the role:

This is a practical and varied role where you work closely with production, involving both machine operation and programming/optimization.

You are responsible for the entire flow: from drawing to finished component, and you will contribute to making production more efficient and high-quality.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up, and adjust punching and press brake machines
• Work with programming and optimization of runs
• Interpret drawings and adapt manufacturing methods based on material and geometry
• Work with sheet metal, often in stainless steel
• Ensure quality, fit, and tolerances
• Contribute to improvements in production, workflows, and working methods

Your profile

We are looking for someone with experience in sheet metal production who thrives in a role combining practical work with technical thinking.

Requirements:

• Experience in sheet metal processing (punching, press brake, or similar)
• Proficiency in reading technical drawings
• Experience working independently in production
• Swedish and English spoken and written
• Valid driver's license and access to a car to commute to/from the workplace

Merits:

• Experience in sheet metal programming (e.g., Trumpf, Amada, Bystronic, or similar)
• Experience working with stainless steel materials
• Forklift license
• Experience with ERP systems
