We are looking for a skilled crane truck driver (over 18 tm) for Verdis in Upplands Väsby.

About the job
Verdis is responsible for waste collection in several municipalities in northern Stockholm, where we work on behalf of and in close cooperation with each municipality. To meet the requirements of our assignments and our high quality goals, we are now looking for someone who holds a C driving license with crane certification (over 18 tm), YKB (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence), and a positive drive.

As an environmental worker, you are a key person in our daily operations – the face of Verdis and part of the team that ensures our municipalities remain clean. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the sanitation assignment is carried out in accordance with our routines and our client's requirements. You will report to the local management.

Your tasks will include, among others:

• Collection and transport of waste
• Handling of vehicle computers and RFID equipment
• Incident reporting
• Daily maintenance/inspection of vehicles and superstructures, as well as washing when necessary
• Handing over vehicles to the workshop when necessary

Who are you? We are looking for someone who:

• Has a C driving license with corresponding YKB
• Has crane certification for over 18 ton-meters
• Speaks and writes Swedish fluently

It is an advantage if you have:

• Previous experience from similar work
• Knowledge of digital incident management
• Familiarity with precision driving

This position suits someone with good physical fitness who enjoys a mobile job at a fast pace. You appreciate working outdoors and have no problem working in all weather conditions. As a person, you are service-oriented with good teamwork skills and a solution-oriented approach. We also believe you are responsible and take pride in performing your work to the best of your ability.

Start date: By agreement, but preferably as soon as possible.
Employment type: Permanent (we apply a six-month probation period).
Scope: Full-time (40 hours/week).
Working hours: We operate Monday to Friday, daytime between approx. 06:30-15:30.
Location: Vällsta, Upplands Väsby.
