About the assignmentDo you want to work in a strategic and business-oriented role where you can influence how a large public organization plans, develops, and optimizes its facilities? We at Future People are now looking for a Business Manager/Local Planner for a long-term consulting assignment with an authority.
The assignment is full-time, starting by agreement, and runs for at least 12 months, with an option for extension.
About the roleIn this role, you are responsible for local planning and the management of lease agreements, with a special focus on business-critical environments such as depots and other specially adapted premises.
You will work both strategically and operationally to analyze the organization's facility needs, plan and optimize facility utilization, and ensure cost-effective and functional solutions for the organization. The goal is to ensure the right facilities are in the right place, at the right time, and at the right cost.
ResponsibilitiesAnalyze and forecast the organization's facility needs
Plan and optimize the utilization of existing facilities
Be responsible for budget, forecasts, and financial follow-up related to facilities
Negotiate, sign, and administer lease agreements
Drive dialogue with landlords and internal clients
Collaborate with technical management, operations, and project organizations
Post-secondary education, at least a vocational qualification (KY) with a focus on real estate, economics, urban planning, or construction. This requirement must be supported by an attached copy of the degree certificate.
Experience in developing functional programs or facility needs plans for at least 2 projects intended for use by public sector activities.
Completed course in lease law.
Experience in lease negotiations for public sector activities, in at least 3 projects.
Experience from the public sector or larger organizations, at least one previous project.
At least 3 years of experience working with administrative tasks related to local planning and decision-making support.
Experience working strategically and long-term with planning and development of facility needs and the process thereof, for at least 1 year.
A security clearance will be conducted prior to employment for this position, in accordance with applicable regulations.
