Bathroom Specialist is a family-owned company with over 40 years of experience in exclusive bathroom design. In our store and showroom, we meet both private individuals and professional customers daily, including interior designers, architects, construction companies, and plumbers. We help our customers select bathroom interiors from a carefully curated selection of world-leading brands, whether it is a small renovation or a larger project. Together with our customers, we create bathroom solutions that are well-thought-out, sustainable, and tailored to their unique needs.

About the Role

As a store sales associate with us, you will meet customers seeking both inspiration and qualified advice. You will guide them through the planning of their new bathroom and provide well-considered recommendations regarding material selection, furnishings, and tiles. You will follow the customer through the entire process, from the first conversation to the final sale. The role involves handling multiple customer cases in parallel and contributing to maintaining a high level of service and professionalism in all contacts.

"The best thing about working as a store sales associate at Bathroom Specialist is probably that no two days are alike. We meet customers at different stages of their bathroom projects, from adding smaller accessories to planning a complete bathroom renovation, but above all, the job is about helping customers create their dream bathroom. The role offers the opportunity to be creative in customer interactions and to guide choices of bathroom furnishings and tiles based on both style and needs.

We work closely together as a team and support each other in daily life, while also having the opportunity to build up both design knowledge and technical understanding over time. In the team, we value positivity, engagement, and taking responsibility for one's tasks, as well as helping a colleague when needed.

I appreciate that we sales staff work every other Saturday and are instead off on a weekday mid-week. This gives me the opportunity to have a good balance between work and leisure, and for example, take care of daily errands such as hairdresser or doctor appointments that are otherwise difficult to fit in during evenings and weekends. It is also facilitated by the fact that the store is centrally located in Stockholm with good connections to both bus and subway, making it easy to get to and from work."

Responsibilities

• Daily customer contact and regular customer meetings
• Provide advice on both aesthetic and material-technical issues
• Prepare quotes and manage ongoing communication with customers
• Handle orders in our business system
• Manage orders from our suppliers
• Maintain regular contact with suppliers and collaborating craftsmen
• Draw and create proposals for bathroom layouts in our design software

Your Background

To succeed in the job as a store sales associate with us, you can have several different backgrounds. For example, you may have previously worked as a craftsman, plumber, tiler, architect, or salesperson. Alternatively, you are a handy person with personal experience from renovations. The most important thing is that you have a service-oriented personality with a good eye for aesthetics and a good ability to understand and quickly learn the technical requirements needed in a bathroom.

About You

We are looking for someone who thrives in a sales role and feels confident in meeting people. You work in a structured manner and take responsibility for your tasks while collaborating well with colleagues. You are patient and feel comfortable handling both quick customer cases and more long-term sales processes. You have an interest in interior design and the ability to guide customers in a clear and service-oriented manner. You also have good computer skills. As a person, you are curious and interested in developing yourself. You either have knowledge of, or the willingness to learn, the technical aspects of the work.

Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written, is a prerequisite.

Merits

Working Hours:

Your working hours follow the store's opening hours, which means work on weekdays between 09:30 and 18:15 and Saturdays between 10:30 and 15:30. You work every other Saturday and are compensated with a day off on one of the weekdays during the same week.
