The Flower Fund (Blomsterfonden) is a non-profit association working to ensure that the elderly receive a secure home, professional care, and a meaningful daily life.

We operate five senior residences with a vibrant social community, our own home care services, and four nursing homes where secure care is the focus. Our goal is to give older people a richer life – filled with community, care, and joy. Our work is permeated by our ethical values: humanity, participation, clarity, and honesty.

The association was founded in 1921 by Alma Hedin. Under her leadership, a special spirit emerged – the "Flower Fund Spirit" – which still characterizes our operations today. We continue Alma's legacy by safeguarding what is at the core of every human life: recognizing the individual's capacity, will, and emotional life.

The Flower Fund also actively works to support relatives. We organize and participate in various forums to spread knowledge about the needs and living situations of the elderly.

Nursing Assistants for Home Care – Day, Evening, and Weekend

We are seeking engaged and responsible nursing assistants for our home care operations in northern Stockholm.

With us, you work closely with our care recipients and contribute to creating security, dignity, and good quality of life in their daily lives.

About the Position
Work in home care involves providing individually adapted care and services in the care recipient's home. Duties include personal care, support in daily activities, social support, and service measures according to care decisions.

Our operations are conducted in several areas, meaning work is performed on foot, by bicycle, or by car depending on distance and schedule planning.

The positions include work during the day, evening, and weekends according to a roster. The possibility of a full-time schedule Monday - Friday is also available.

Duties

• Personal care and support in daily life
• Service measures such as simple household tasks
• Create security, continuity, and respectful treatment
• Documentation according to current legislation and operational routines
• Correct handling of digital systems, including receipt and visit logging
• Collaboration with colleagues, coordinators, and other professionals

Qualifications

• Qualified nursing assistant
• Professional license from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) is required
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Class B driver's license is required
• Experience in home care or elderly care is an asset

Other Requirements

• An extract from the criminal register must be submitted before employment begins
• Grades from education must be available for presentation
• Ability to work independently and take responsibility for quality in care
