About Us

Within Basic Home Care, we usually work on behalf of health centers or general practitioner clinics when they are closed – evenings, nights, and weekends. Our teams operate from five geographical locations in Stockholm County. Aleris Basic Home Care is part of Aleris Primary Care, which also includes ASIH, two specialized palliative care units, Rehab Station, and Uppsala Närakut.

The Role

As a care assistant, you are delegated tasks by a registered nurse, and your duties include, among others, medication administration, insulin, feeding tubes, stoma care, inhalation, and minor wound care. We document in the TakeCare journal system and use Epsilon as a work tool to plan shifts. At our facility, you always have an administrative team to help plan and structure the work. Together, we work to create safe and high-quality care for our patients.

For this role, working hours are primarily 04:30-08:00 in the morning. On weekends and public holidays, there is an opportunity to extend working hours until 13:00. You will operate from the office in Huvudsta (Anderstorpsvägen 10), and patients are located within a defined geographical area. To travel between patient visits, you will use our environmentally classified cars.

About You

We are looking for someone who:

• Is an educated care assistant and holds a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen)

• Has previous experience with delegated tasks

• Has good computer skills and experience with the Take Care journal system

• Has a Category B driver's license

• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

It is also highly meritorious if you have previously worked in home care. We expect you to be independent and responsible with a good ability to handle changing situations with calm and focus. At the same time, you work in a structured and methodical way, even at a high pace. For us, it is also important that you keep the patient in focus.
