About the Role

Do you want to make a difference in Transdev's bus operations in Stockholm North? We are looking for a new Service Manager for our transport contract in Norrort, ready to take on exciting challenges and contribute to the region's growth!

As Service Manager in Norrort, you will have personnel responsibility for our mechanics, on-board technicians, production managers, warehouse and procurement manager, as well as the vehicle maintenance group led by our Vehicle Maintenance Manager. Norrort covers three depots: Täby, Vallentuna, and Åkersberga, which together manage a bus fleet of over 200 vehicles.

Responsibilities

As Service Manager, you have a large and broad responsibility. You hold budget and result responsibility, driving steering, optimizing, and developing measures, and having a hand in the workshop's execution to ensure daily delivery to traffic. Your primary daily main task is to ensure that maintenance is carried out according to established processes, systems, and working methods, that daily challenges are solved, and that the operational business is actively steered, led, and planned with the help of your Production Manager. Your second task is to monitor and develop the business with a strong focus on workshop execution and its quality, cost, and safety. Support systems and processes for maintenance, key figures, and economics are followed up monthly through Transdev's model for Maintenance Control in business forums.

Furthermore, you are responsible for continuously developing your business and vehicles, collaborating with clients, the region, support functions, and suppliers to proactively address problems and challenges the business faces. You are responsible for the work environment, complaints, safety, facilities, and equipment procurement.

Your Leadership and Personal Profile:

You have an active, secure, direct, and communicative leadership style that supports and motivates others to do their best, and you are not afraid to drive change initiatives. You have a high ability to create engagement and involvement and work with a focus on goals, results, development, and improvement. You are persistent and efficient even during peak workloads and under time pressure, and you are motivated by being visible and present in the business. You have a good ability to plan, prioritize, and organize work and resources and think cost-effectively.

Your Background

To succeed in this role, you should have a vehicle technical education and experience working in a leading position, preferably in a similar role. We prefer that you have broad experience in the vehicle or workshop industry and are accustomed to working in maintenance systems and with procured traffic where reporting and business dialogue are important. You likely have knowledge of environmental and occupational health and safety issues within vehicle workshops and have experience with change management as well as LEAN and/or 5S. You feel at home in the public transport industry or other personnel-intensive and service-oriented industries.

You are proficient in MS Office and preferably an experienced user of Excel. To be able to read our technical manuals, you should also have good knowledge of English.

What We Offer

You are offered an exciting role at a value-driven company where our employees are our most important asset. Our values "Action, Responsibility, Innovation, and Collaboration" guide our daily work, and you will become an important resource in this effort.

You are offered a market-competitive salary with a benefits package that includes a pension plan according to ITP. You will also receive a group insurance package, the Rikskortet (national discount card), an annual wellness contribution, subsidized massage, and several other well-being activities.

Scope: Full-time Location: Täby Employment Type: Permanent full-time position with a 6-month probation period.
