The Technology and Property Administration provides internal services so that our colleagues in other operations can focus on their core activities. We are responsible for the operation and development of public spaces and issue permits so that the municipal corporation and the business community can carry out their activities. We also ensure that children, students, and care recipients receive good and nutritious food and that the municipality's premises are well-maintained and suitable for their purpose.

Our Work in Facility Cleaning
We at the facility cleaning department perform daily cleaning throughout the municipality for administrations, municipal companies, and associations, as well as home cleaning for care recipients. In addition, we offer other services within facility cleaning.
We are now looking for more hourly substitutes for our operations. 5 positions available.
Job Responsibilities
Within the facility cleaning operations in Kalmar Municipality, we clean schools, preschools, sports facilities, and offices daily, as well as perform cleaning for care recipients using modern equipment and methods. Our goal is to deliver good service to the municipality's residents who visit public environments.
We provide training and offer an introduction together with mentors so that you get the best possible start when you are new to the job.
Our services include, in addition to daily cleaning, ongoing floor maintenance, periodic deep cleaning, high-level cleaning, and window cleaning.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who preferably have experience of professional cleaning and a B driver's license.
You find it easy to collaborate with others, but also enjoy working independently and taking your own responsibility. You can follow written instructions, have a good sense of place, and work in a structured manner in your daily life.
Basic knowledge of Swedish is a requirement, as the work involves being able to understand and follow instructions regarding chemicals, safety, and the environment.
The work requires high work ethics, professional treatment, and a willingness to develop. We place great importance on a strong team mindset, where collaboration and shared responsibility are a natural part of the assignment.
