About the Position

As a night receptionist, you are the face of the hotel during the night and have overall responsibility for the hotel during your shift. You work independently and play a crucial role in ensuring safety, service, and high quality – even when the pace varies.

You are solution-oriented, responsible, and have a good eye for the big picture. All work is permeated by Elite Hotels' values: quality, tradition, and flair.

The position is a temporary assignment starting immediately and extends until at least the end of September 2026, with the possibility of extension.

Responsibilities

The role includes, among other things:

• Welcome and take care of our guests with a high level of service and professional conduct.
• Handle check-ins and check-outs as well as ongoing guest service.
• Be responsible for the hotel during the night from a service, safety, and operational perspective.
• Handle cash, card, and invoice management according to current routines.
• Receive and answer phone calls and emails (info and reservation emails).
• Report errors and deviations to Maintenance.
• Actively work with upselling and cross-selling.
• Ensure that Green Key commitments are followed.
• Maintain the reception and common areas in good condition, including light cleaning.
• Stay updated on what is happening in the house (events, bookings, etc.).
• Follow the company's policies, routines, as well as fire and safety regulations.

Health & Safety

• Ultimately responsible for the hotel during the night.
• Act immediately in the event of risk, crisis, or emergency situations.
• Report deviating behaviors or incidents.
• Be well-versed in the hotel's fire and safety routines.

Who Are You?

We are looking for someone who:

• Is service-oriented, calm, and confident.
• Enjoys working independently and taking responsibility.
• Has a good ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Is meticulous, reliable, and has a professional demeanor.
• Has good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Has previous experience in hotel reception or a service profession (merit).
