Building and maintaining roads and infrastructure is significant. Contributing to societal development is even greater. With us, you get to do both. We are now seeking procurement specialists for our civil engineering operations in the South region (Malmö & Gothenburg) and the North region (Härnösand, Umeå & Luleå). At Svevia, we combine the camaraderie and team spirit of a small company with the stability of a large corporation. Here, you have the opportunity to develop as a road specialist – with commitment, collaboration, and responsibility.
Your role as a Procurement Specialist
As a Procurement Specialist, you become an integral part of how we conduct business and how we support projects in their daily operations. You work in a team where we help each other, share knowledge, and find solutions together.
You are responsible for all or parts of the procurement process, from strategy and business setup to execution, contracts, and follow-up.
In this role, you follow projects throughout the entire procurement journey. You get involved early in the bidding phase and support until the project is complete. You ensure that procurements are professional and business-oriented. You work closely with both the project organization and our procurement team. Together, you build good relationships with suppliers and ensure that projects have the right prerequisites. The role also includes work on developing and implementing new ways of working within the organization. You will also work cross-functionally on issues regarding category management and internal affairs, where you, together with colleagues, develop common ways of working and smarter solutions for our procurements.
The focus is on strengthening projects within procurement and contributing to a business-oriented, structured, and sustainable procurement work.
Who are you?
We believe you have experience in procurement within construction or civil engineering. You enjoy working close to the operations and combining both strategic and operational work. You have a good understanding of production and the market. You can build trust in dialogues, negotiations, and contacts with various stakeholders.
As a person, you enjoy collaboration and building relationships. In your work, you are proactive, structured, and unpretentious.
We would like you to have:
- Experience with contractor tenders and supplier contacts
- Good knowledge of relevant standard contracts
- A structured way of working and the ability to take own initiatives
- Interest in developing ways of working and contributing with new ideas
- Experience with contractor tenders, higher education in construction or real estate, or several years of relevant experience
We welcome people with different backgrounds and educational paths. The most important thing is that you have relevant experience and recognize yourself in the description above.
At Svevia, you become part of an engaged team that values participation, openness, and succeeding together. You get both responsibility and the opportunity to influence the daily lives of many of our projects.
Does this sound like something for you? Then we hope you will get in touch.
Part of something bigger
With well-knit work teams, we build Sweden from the ground up – in concrete, steel, wood, stone, and earth. We do this by building roads, bridges, quays, and concrete structures for industry, the state, and municipalities. Additionally, we break new ground and pave the way for water and sewage networks, wind farms, and development areas. We also have special units within foundation work and soil remediation. Together with Svevia's other operations in road maintenance and paving, you become an important cog in a larger societal machine. This opens up new possibilities for innovation and problem-solving.
Why Svevia?
With us, you quickly become part of the crew, and we strive to be a workplace for everyone. Decision-making paths are short, making it easy to influence and make your voice heard.
We have career paths for those who want to become managers and leaders or wish to develop in their current professional role. It is as a team that we create success. That is how we do business and generate results. That is how we make cities and the country function. Do you want to share the road with us?
Application and information
You apply easily by submitting your CV and answering a few selection questions. Our recruitment process is based on a competency-based approach, which is a prerequisite for recruiting in a quality-assured, inclusive, and unbiased manner. Therefore, we do not want a cover letter.
Submit your application as soon as possible and no later than April 17.
