At Jernbro in Västerås, we are now looking for a self-reliant industrial electrician who wants to work close to production where fast, safe, and long-term solutions are required. Here you will be able to use your experience to the fullest in an environment where your work makes a concrete difference.
About the RoleAs an industrial electrician with us, you will play a central role in the operational reliability of one of our largest customers. You will become part of an experienced team but will also have significant individual responsibility.
You will work with:
Advanced troubleshooting and repair of electrical equipment and control systems
Preventive maintenance and inspection
Adaptation and installation in existing equipment
Improvement work and smaller projects with individual responsibility
Documentation and reporting in maintenance systems
The role may also involve work at other locations, primarily in Stockholm, but this occurs on an occasional basis depending on the needs of the business.
Who are you?We are looking for an industrial electrician who is accustomed to troubleshooting and maintenance in a production environment, rather than traditional installation work. You are confident in your professional role, have good analytical skills, and a solution-oriented working style. You enjoy practical work, taking responsibility, and viewing technical challenges as something positive.
For this role, we place great importance on personality and commitment. We are looking for someone who takes full responsibility, has the right attitude, and understands what is required in an operation where production must function. This means you have a strong work ethic and a drive to complete what needs to be done to ensure production runs smoothly.
We prefer that you have:At least 10 years of experience in electrical work, several of which in industry
Extensive experience in troubleshooting control cabinets, motor controls, and sensor systems
Good understanding of electrical safety and industry standards
Basic knowledge of PLC/control systems
Good computer skills and experience with documentation
Swedish spoken and written, as well as a B driver's license
It is not a requirement, but if you additionally have experience or knowledge in any of the following areas, we consider it an extra plus:
Authorization or other electrical qualification
Project management, construction, pneumatics, or hydraulics
Switchgear, high voltage, or electrical design
English spoken and written
Post-secondary education, e.g., vocational college in electrical engineering or automation
