We are currently seeking a Leading Fitter for exciting assignments within water and environmental technology!

The company is an established player in water treatment and environmental technology with extensive experience in innovative solutions. They are in an expansion phase and work on projects across Sweden to contribute to a sustainable future. About the role:

As a Leading Fitter, you will have a central role in their projects, responsible for planning and leading assembly, repairs, and welding, primarily in stainless steel, at customer sites. Your work also includes servicing and maintenance of machinery as well as retrofitting of piping systems.

You will act as a vital link between project management and assembly, with direct contact with customers to plan and carry out work efficiently. In addition, you will be responsible for material handling, problem-solving, documentation, and coordinating subcontractors.

An important part of the role is to conduct risk analyses and act as a BAS-U (Safety Coordinator), as well as participate in construction meetings and ensure that quality controls are performed to the highest standard.

Qualifications:

To thrive and succeed in this role, we look for experience in a leading role within industry, water and sewage (VA), or similar operations. Furthermore, we prefer that you have:

• Experience in assembly and service work within industry or water and sewage.
• Experience in conducting risk analyses and occupational safety.
• Welding experience; it is an asset if you have a welder's test in method 141, material group 8 (stainless steel).
• Experience in navigating 3D models is an asset.
• Upper secondary education in technology or equivalent knowledge acquired through working life.
• Ability to work in a team and handle rapid changes.
