Description

The food unit prepares meals for our children in preschool, students in school, and customers within social care. We work to ensure all our customers are satisfied. We are now looking for a Meal Developer with kitchen responsibility to help develop the municipality's meals and to further educate, enthuse, and inspire our colleagues within the meal service.

Tasks

In this role, you will support, develop, and inspire our colleagues within Meal Service, helping them take further steps in their skills. You will lead and distribute work in the kitchen. You are responsible for purchasing and meal planning. You ensure that routines and guidelines are followed. You actively participate in kitchen work and take part in all tasks at the workplace.

You have the ability to develop and inspire your colleagues in the kitchen. You are passionate about good and sustainable meals where your creativity sets the boundaries. We want the meal experiences in Sunne Municipality to provide our guests with a meeting place where they can relax, gather strength, and experience new, exciting flavors.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a culinary education at the upper secondary level or other education deemed equivalent by the employer. You must have documented experience in similar roles such as kitchen manager or head chef in a larger restaurant or institutional kitchen. You have experience with training within the restaurant and institutional kitchen sector.

You have a strong interest in preparing good and nutritious food for our guests.

You have knowledge and experience in preparing special diets, good knowledge of the Swedish language both orally and in writing as the work requires documentation such as self-control, and computer skills. As a person, you are structured and independent, have a good ability to prioritize and plan your work, and find it easy to collaborate. You must share the school's value system and find joy in working with young people. You are service-oriented, have a positive mindset, are flexible, creative, and eager to show good results.

Great importance is attached to personal suitability.

Conditions

Valid B driver's license. Interviews may be conducted on an ongoing basis during the application period.
