Julins Backyard Barbecue, Restaurant and Smokehouse opened in the fall of 2020. We are driven by the desire to offer barbecue of the highest quality! Our inspiration comes from the American South, specifically Austin – Texas. Our guests are our friends, and when they come to us, they should receive a complete experience of food, drink, music, and attentive service.

Join our dedicated team that works hard to develop and constantly improve what we do. Our common goal is to create the best possible experience for our guests. We are now recruiting experienced part-time staff for the summer season of 2026.

As a Server at our restaurant, you will work to ensure that our guests feel welcome and attended to. You are a positive person with a strong work ethic, driven, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You are service-minded and have a twinkle in your eye. You are presentable, flexible, meticulous, and able to handle stress. You appreciate order and structure, both in your own work and that of your colleagues. You have an interest in food and drink. You thrive in a demanding environment and are engaged and eager to learn – and to teach. You pay attention to details and are good at meeting and accommodating guests' individual needs. You have documented experience working as a server, runner, and/or bartender.

Personal qualities and attitude are the most important factors for this recruitment. We are a business that values the strengths of our team, which means that the kitchen and service staff work closely together and support each other in daily tasks. About the job

Our summer season starts on June 22 and runs until August 16. Training sessions will be held before your employment.

Job responsibilities

You will take care of our guests in the best way possible and guide them through their stay with us. Serving food and drinks, clearing tables, washing dishes, and cleaning. Working at the cash register where you recommend food and drinks and have knowledge of products in our BBQ shop.

The schedule is varied with day/evening/weekend shifts, predominantly evenings and weekends.
