Do you enjoy being behind the wheel, want to be an important part of the logistics chain, and have a good sense for animals? JJ:s Åkeri continues to expand and is now looking for a Truck Driver with CE license for the summer period, with good opportunities for permanent employment thereafter. The position is based in Kalmar, but driving will primarily take place in southern Sweden - you therefore need to be comfortable with staying away from home during the week when required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and drive truck transports with a focus on safety and quality.

• Loading and unloading of animals in close cooperation with the customer, always with the animals' well-being at the center.

• Monitor the transport systems and ensure everything runs safely and smoothly along the way.

• Maintain ongoing contact with customers for a professional and service-oriented delivery.

• Be responsible for documentation and routines related to transport and vehicle cleaning.

Requirements for the position

• CE license and valid YKB (Yrkeskompetensbevis)

• Fluent Swedish in both speech and writing

• Good driving experience with trailers and previous experience of similar tasks

• Good social skills & high professional pride

• Staying away from home is a natural part of the job, which suits you if you like freedom and variety in your work

We consider it a big plus if you also have:

• Experience with animal transport or other animal experience, with an understanding of animal welfare

• Forklift or wheel loader license.

• Interest in vehicles and mechanics

• Technical knowledge

We are looking for someone who enjoys the combination of driving a truck and working closely with people and animals – about half of the job takes place behind the wheel and half on-site at the customer's location. It is therefore important that you enjoy customer contact and nurture the company's relationships through professional treatment.

Start: By agreement, preferably immediately

Working hours: Varying working hours depending on the assignment

Location: Based in Kalmar, with driving in southern Sweden
