We are looking for

We are looking for a licensed nurse with a genuine interest in developing and learning new things. At the emergency department, we face new and varying challenges daily, which requires both commitment and flexibility. It is an asset if you have experience working with acutely ill patients, for example from an emergency department, ward, or health center, but it is not a requirement.

We place great importance on personal qualities. To thrive in this role, you are flexible and easily adapt to changing circumstances. You have good teamwork skills and see the value in working together with others. Furthermore, you have a strong will to develop and contribute to the improvement of the operation.

This is what you will work with

As a nurse at the emergency department, you will be introduced step-by-step to the various functions within the operation. Through this, you will have the opportunity to broaden your competence and experience a great variety in your work. You will meet patients with everything from mild symptoms to acute conditions – from newborns to elderly people. The work is done in teams together with experienced and engaged colleagues who are happy to share their knowledge and experience. At the emergency department, we value ideas for improvement and actively work with development – both for the patient's benefit and for the quality of the operation. We are proud of our workplace and strive for a positive and respectful treatment, both towards patients and between colleagues.

  • We offer you, who have further education and experience from another operation, the opportunity to maintain your competence through annual recurring placement within that area of operation.
  • Structured induction for at least four weeks, depending on previous experience. During the induction, we follow up on how it goes and if there is a need for additional introduction time.
  • After the induction, you are offered a mentor to further secure your first time at your new workplace.
  • Weekly internal training, adapted to the staff's wishes and needs.
  • Scheduling model with shortened weekly working hours and full-time salary. The schedule is designed with a focus on recovery and offers good opportunities to combine work with leisure.

Information about the position

We offer a permanent full-time position with start date according to agreement. Working hours are scheduled for day/evening and night. Region Norrbotten applies individual salary setting according to collective agreements.
