About the Health and Care Unit

The Health and Care Unit is part of the social services activities directed towards care and nursing homes, home care, and functional support. The unit consists of nurses, specialist nurses, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and assistant nurses.

We offer you a pleasant workplace with competent and experienced colleagues. We are seeking engaged and responsible licensed nurses for night duty during the summer, working a schedule of seven nights on and seven nights off. In this role, you will work independently and be a key person for all our users and patients during the night, as well as support for nursing staff. There will be a handover with a permanent nurse before the temporary assignment begins.

Responsibilities

You will work independently and in close collaboration with care and nursing staff. An on-call physician is available via telephone contact.

The job includes standard nursing tasks such as:

• Responsible for the overall nursing activities in the municipality's primary care during night shifts.
• Perform independent assessments regarding patients' health and well-being.
• Provide care and support/guidance at all our Care and Nursing Homes, the functional impairment area, and within home care.
• Document care interventions.

Qualifications

• Licensed Nurse.
• Experience in home care and elderly care.
• Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
• Ability to perform independent assessments and make decisions in acute situations.
• Empathic ability and interest in the patient's needs.
• Experience/knowledge of the documentation system Combine.

Employment Conditions

• Employment type: Fixed-term employment.
