Färgelanda Municipality is now recruiting three assistant nurses for our dementia care facility, Håvestensgården.

Tasks

Working in dementia care means that you meet elderly people who need help and support from you – you are their helping hand in everyday life. Help and support look different depending on individual needs and wishes. As an assistant nurse with us, you are part of an engaged and competent work group; we work in teams in a learning organization. Together with your colleagues, you are a key person for those living with us. The work includes being a contact person and holding one or more areas of responsibility.

Your assignment includes collaborating with colleagues to improve, develop, and drive the facility's work forward. We want you to be a person who is happy to share your knowledge and experiences while being curious and open to learning from others, as well as having the ability to reflect on your own contribution and attitude.

You will document according to applicable legislation, perform tasks delegated by licensed personnel, and plan and carry out joint activities and tasks.

Qualifications

You are an educated assistant nurse with a professional certificate from the Swedish National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen). Experience of working with dementia, and preferably with the BPSD register, is an asset.

Proficiency in Swedish, both spoken and written, is a requirement.

References and an extract from the police criminal register are required.

Terms

Permanent employment – employment rate 75 - 100 %

The work is irregular and involves working days, evenings, and every other weekend.

An extract from the criminal register must be presented before employment – it can take a long time to get an extract from the criminal register, so order it in good time!
