About the role

As a mechanic at Exellent Syd, you will have an important and varied role in the daily workshop operations. You will work with service, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repairs of heavy vehicles, with a special focus on garbage trucks and other special vehicles.

The work involves mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic tasks, and you will use modern equipment and diagnostic tools. The role requires the ability to work independently, as well as collaborate closely with colleagues to ensure efficient and high-quality deliveries to customers. Documentation, spare parts ordering, and digital work orders are a natural part of the daily routine.

We are looking for you who

To succeed in this role, we require a genuine mechanical interest and solid experience working with heavy vehicles. Previous experience with garbage trucks is a mandatory requirement.

We also expect you to have:

• Documented experience working with garbage trucks
• Experience with hydraulics and electronics
• Secondary education in vehicle technology or equivalent work experience
• Ability to work independently and take initiative
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Good communication skills and a strong sense of service
• Class B driver's license
• Swedish and English in spoken and written form
