We are currently looking for a Service Technician to join Järnet Smide in Stockholm!

The company specializes in the manufacturing and installation of steel doors, entrance areas, gates, and other custom metal structures. With its own workshop and production facilities, Järnet Smide focuses on quality, sustainability, and customer-tailored solutions for properties and housing cooperatives.

About the role

As a Service Technician at Järnet Smide, you will have an independent role responsible for service, repairs, and installations at customer sites around Stockholm. You will plan your own days and operate out of the office. Your responsibilities include:

• Assembly, installation, and repair of doors, gates, and custom structures
• Troubleshooting and problem-solving directly on-site with the customer
• Taking measurements and creating sketches for repairs or workshop production
• Stick welding (MMA)

You will serve as a key point of contact for customers and represent Järnet Smide professionally on every assignment.

We are looking for you who

To thrive and succeed in this role, we look for candidates with:

• Experience as a service technician or technician
• Driver's license (Class B)
• Fluent Swedish, both spoken and written
• Knowledge of low-voltage systems (weak current)
• The right attitude – driven, service-oriented, and eager to develop your career
• Representative and professional demeanor
