About the Company

Chromafora is a cleantech innovation company with unique patented and patent-pending water purification technologies based on proprietary chemical processes: SELPAXT and SELMEXT.

Both technologies aim to remove pollutants and, through selectivity, reduce waste volumes. SELMEXT removes heavy metals, while SELPAXT removes both short- and long-chain PFAS compounds from water streams.

The SELMEXT process also contributes to preserving critical raw materials by enabling the recycling and reuse of valuable metals, such as gold and other sought-after metals, from waste.

As of April 2025, Chromafora's headquarters and chemistry lab will be located in Västberga, Stockholm.

About the Role

As an Operations/Service Technician at Chromafora, you will enjoy a varied and independent daily routine working closely with the company's advanced and innovative water purification and metal extraction facilities – both in Sweden and across Europe. Chromafora's technology is based on proprietary chemistry and groundbreaking solutions, making the work both exciting and meaningful.

In this role, you will play a central part in ensuring the operation of our technical systems and facilities. The work covers a broad spectrum of tasks – from troubleshooting and repairs to service and preventive maintenance. You will also be responsible for conducting sampling, inspections, and calibrations, as well as identifying and addressing technical deviations. The role also includes planning and ordering spare parts, as well as maintaining a good overview of what is required to quickly and efficiently handle various operational challenges.

The role also requires careful documentation and communication to ensure efficient and quality-assured operations over time.

Travel is a natural part of the job, with approximately 50–100 overnight stays per year. You will work at facilities throughout Sweden, Scandinavia, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium – and occasionally in other parts of Europe.

You will be based at Chromafora's new, modern office but will spend most of your time on-site with customers in the field.

We are looking for you who

• Have relevant technical education in operations technology, service technology, or similar.
• Have experience working in process environments, e.g., in facility management, industry, or swimming pools – where you have built an understanding of how technical systems interconnect.
• Have a strong interest in environmental technology – you want to contribute to a more sustainable world.
• Have experience with automation.
• Hold a B-class driver's license.
• Have good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Additional languages are an asset.
