As we are growing, we are looking for new colleagues. We are located together with three home care units and night/safety alarms in the same home care center. For us, teamwork is important, and we set the framework for this together with home health care. We always put the care recipient at the center and believe it is therefore important that the care recipient is involved in shaping their own care measures.

As a nurse assistant, you work closely with people and are a support in every individual's daily life. You perform nursing and care work for people in their own homes. You motivate and stimulate the elderly based on their individual conditions, needs, and wishes. The measures are granted based on assistance and can vary from personal care to service measures. The goal is to make it possible for the individual to remain in their own home as long as they wish. Your tasks include being a contact person/fixed care contact, and together with the individual, you will plan, implement, update, and document the work. It also includes performing health care and rehabilitative measures on prescription from a nurse, physiotherapist, and occupational therapist.

We work according to the Social Services Act and the national value foundation with a focus on the individual's needs at the center. The work involves providing social care and nursing from a health-promoting approach, which includes utilizing the individual's resources and focusing on the healthy aspects of every care recipient.

All social documentation is done digitally. If you have not previously used the systems used within the City of Gothenburg, you will receive training in these.

The people we meet need support during the day, evening, and weekends. Therefore, your working hours are scheduled.

About You

Requirements:

• We are looking for you who are an educated nurse assistant, can show the National Board of Health and Welfare's certificate for a protected professional title, or can show that you were employed as a nurse assistant when the new rules were introduced.

• Good language skills in Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as documentation and computer skills

• Class B driver's license and driving experience, and you must be willing to drive a car for work year-round

Merits:

Experience from nursing and care work, preferably in home care

Experience with social documentation and being a contact person/fixed care contact

Experience in writing implementation plans according to IBIC

Experience with cycling and willingness to use an e-bike in the work

Personal Qualities

As a nurse assistant in home care, you are friendly and helpful towards other people, even in stressful situations. Work in home care consists largely of independent work and personal responsibility, but you also work together with your colleagues. In your role, you take responsibility for your own and the group's tasks. You think of those we serve and their best interests.

In your role, you are calm and secure in pressured and difficult situations and can make well-founded decisions despite time pressure. You have the courage and ability to make your own decisions within the framework of your assignment without being dependent on others. The tasks vary based on the care recipient's needs, so it is important that you can change how you work when things change.
