Nursing Assistant at Kungshöjden, Ankarsrum

We are currently seeking a Nursing Assistant (Undersköterska) for Kungshöjden's special housing facility.

Your Responsibilities

Your duties will include providing care, assistance, and support to the elderly based on their individual needs, as well as creating a meaningful daily life for them. We work according to a salutogenic approach, which means we focus on the strengths of each individual and the resources and conditions they possess. To contribute to a more meaningful daily life and provide better quality of life, we work with "Free Time." Visits are therefore based on individual needs.

Your mission is to provide the elderly with care and treatment characterized by consideration and respect, making a difference every day. This helps us add the finishing touch to their daily lives. We offer a challenging and stimulating job with great variety and the opportunity to influence.

You will work days and evenings according to a schedule.

Your Competence

We require that you have a degree from the Care and Welfare program or equivalent education.

It is an asset if you are educated in dementia care or have previous work experience in the field. It is also an asset if you hold a B-class driver's license.

Most importantly, we want you to have a genuine interest in providing support and service to other people. We value that you are positive, engaged, responsible, and flexible in your working style. In your work, you will collaborate with users, their relatives, colleagues, and other professionals. Therefore, you need to find it easy to work together with others. We also want you to be attentive and have good communication skills.

It is important that you have a high capacity for empathy, can listen and understand the user's various needs, and have a willingness to meet these needs in the best possible way. The position requires you to be responsible, proactive, and have a flexible working style. We place great value on engagement in the work and a willingness to contribute to the best interests of the operation.

You have basic IT skills and can work with the systems we use for journaling and documentation.
