Mimergården

Our colleague is going on parental leave and we are looking for a new star in the team who wants to work in day care for about a year. 

At Mimergården, there are three staff members working Monday to Friday, with weekends and public holidays off. The job requires a high level of shared responsibility within the team, and both collegial interaction and interaction with users are highly valued. In the day care, there is a great deal of freedom to shape the content based on the interests of the participants.

Here, the group plans and implements decisions for new participants themselves. Responsibilities are shared in rotation for kitchen tasks, office tasks, and activities, so you need to have good knowledge in all three areas. All meals are prepared by the staff, but only lunch is provided ready-made from restaurant Midgård. Breakfast and snacks are prepared by the staff at the day care.

There may be occasions when activities occur outside regular working hours, and you are expected to be flexible and able to adjust your working hours so that participants can take part in various community events. The activities are planned by you, so you will know in advance if this occurs and can use the time bank to schedule or take out hours.

We are looking for someone with a nursing assistant education and several years of work experience in care and support. 

It is considered an advantage if you are trained as a Silvia Sister or a specialist nursing assistant.

The position requires you to be responsible, have a flexible working style, be structured, and possess good collaboration skills. We place great value on engagement in the work and a desire to contribute to the best of the organization, as it is important that you want to work for a positive spirit and good working environment. You will have close cooperation with your colleagues and unit managers. You are a person who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a solution-focused approach.

We want you to have good communication skills both verbally and in writing, as well as very good knowledge of the Swedish language.

To be considered for the current position in Västervik municipality, you must present an extract from the police criminal record.
