Job Description

As a Vehicle Tester for our client in Nykvarn, you will be responsible for performing tests and inspections on passenger cars to ensure functionality, safety, and quality prior to delivery or after repairs. You will work in a workshop environment alongside technicians and administrative staff, where accuracy, clear documentation, and problem-solving are central. The role includes practical test drives, diagnostics, and verification of completed actions.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform test drives and functional tests according to checklists and established procedures
• Conduct diagnostics using diagnostic tools and read error codes
• Inspect brakes, steering, lighting, tires, electronics, and other safety-critical components
• Document test results in the workshop system and report deviations or the need for further action
• Collaborate with technicians to reproduce faults, suggest solutions, and verify completed repairs
• Ensure order and safety in the work area and follow procedures for working environment and environmental management

Qualifications

• Education in vehicle technology or equivalent practical experience from a workshop is an asset
• Experience with troubleshooting or vehicle testing is desirable
• Good computer skills for documentation in administrative systems
• Ability to communicate clearly in Swedish, both verbally and in writing
• Meticulous, safety-conscious, and solution-focused with good teamwork skills
• Driver's License B (Manual)
