Real Estate Developer

The Regional Area West Properties Construction and Management is responsible for customer relations, represents the property owner in matters concerning the region's property portfolio, and provides premises for the region's operations. The Regional Properties area is also responsible for the region's needs for external leasing, technical security systems in these, parking, accessibility issues, and properties for transport hubs, bus and train depots. Now we are looking for a property manager with a focus on real estate development!

Job Description

Within the area of real estate development, your focus will be on one or more large and complex individual real estate development projects or programs, where you act as the project owner. Several of our larger projects within public transport properties are extensive and complex. You are also responsible for the strategic real estate development plan for groups of properties, a task you will perform in close collaboration with our tenant Västtrafik. Your responsibilities include project planning and preparing political decision-making documents for investments.

The role includes ensuring that current physical development plans are established and followed in respective projects, as well as adjusting detailed plans as needed. You will conduct needs analyses, feasibility studies, and initiate changes to premises with a focus on and responsibility for the customer's need for functional spaces.

A prerequisite for the role as a real estate developer is that you, fully in line with the region's decision-making process, work towards the set goals for each management object and support these in your work. You follow developments within both the customer's and our external environment.

The position is based at the Region's House in Gothenburg. The role involves travel; a B-class driver's license is required. Where possible, we use public transport for travel.

The employment is as a property manager with a focus on real estate development.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with a university degree or civil engineering degree in civil engineering/urban planning, or alternatively other education and experience deemed equivalent.

You have several years of experience working with projects within infrastructure, urban development, and civil engineering. You have been involved in the development of strategic property planning and in early stages. Experience with larger projects, property transactions, and good knowledge of the real estate market in Gothenburg is an asset.

You have a good ability to create and maintain good relationships, and you find it easy to communicate and express yourself in Swedish, both orally and in writing. You have good collaborative skills and a clear drive to move forward. To thrive in this role, we believe you enjoy taking on significant responsibility and understand the importance of always maintaining a holistic perspective. You are proactive and have a systematic working method with a good ability to make decisions and act upon them.
