ABOUT THE JOB

We are now looking for summer temporary staff for our home care services in Lycksele Municipality for the summer of 2026. Do you want to work as a summer substitute in home care this summer? Do not hesitate to send us your application!

Working as a summer substitute in Support, Care, and Welfare means that you will work as a substitute during the period of June to August when regular staff is on vacation. There is an opportunity to start earlier and begin your training during the spring. If you wish to continue as an hourly substitute during the autumn, there are good opportunities for continued employment.

Within home care, you will help our users with services and personal care in their own homes. Our work is to make a difference so that our users' quality of life is as good as possible. The most important tool we have is our attitude and our smile. The work will be scheduled according to a roster, including day, evening, or night shifts.

YOUR PROFILE

We are looking for someone who is 18 years or older. We consider it an asset if you have education in care and welfare or equivalent, but the most important thing for us is that you have an interest and commitment to working with people. For some areas, a Class B driver's license is required.

As a person, you find it easy to listen, understand others, and their needs. You have a good attitude and strong collaboration skills. Since the work is dynamic, we believe you are able to adapt and prioritize tasks. Great importance is placed on personal suitability and alignment with our values.

A criminal record check will be requested prior to employment.

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT

  • Duration: Summer temporary position, June – August.
  • Extent: 100% or by agreement.
  • Start Date: By agreement.
  • Salary: Individual salary setting. For salary intervals, contact our salary administrators at 0950-162 00.

Lycksele Municipality is a Sami administrative area; knowledge of Sami may be an asset in some cases. We decline contact from ad salespeople.
