We are now looking for summer substitutes for elderly and group homes in Lycksele Municipality for the summer of 2026. Do you want to work as a summer substitute at a special care facility within Support, Care, and Welfare this summer? Do not hesitate to send us your application!

Working as a summer substitute means that you will work as a temporary replacement during the period of June to August when regular staff is on vacation. There is an opportunity to start earlier and undergo training during the spring. If you wish to continue as an hourly substitute during the autumn, there are good possibilities for continued employment.

As an employee at a special care facility, elderly home, or group home, you will assist our users with service and personal care. Our work is to make a difference so that our users' quality of life is as good as possible. The most important tool we have is our approach and our smile. The work will be scheduled according to a roster, including day, evening, or night shifts.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is 18 years or older. We consider it an advantage if you have education in care and welfare or equivalent education, but the most important thing for us is that you have an interest and commitment to working with people and supporting them in their daily lives. A driver's license (Class B) is an advantage but not a requirement.

As a person, you find it easy to listen, understand, and empathize with other people and their needs. You will be in daily contact with many people, such as users, relatives, and staff, which requires a good approach and strong collaboration skills. Working with people means an exciting and changing daily routine, so we believe you are able to adapt and prioritize tasks based on current conditions. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.

A criminal record check will be requested prior to employment.

We have worked on wages and conditions for our summer substitutes, as you are important to us! This means that we will pay higher wages than the central agreement during the summer months. We also try to assist with temporary accommodation if you have difficulty finding housing in Lycksele while working with us.

About the Employment

• Duration: Summer substitute position June – August.
• Extent: 100% or by agreement.
• By agreement.
