About Us

Property Service is the part of Region Sörmland responsible for the region's property portfolio. This includes management, operation, and construction of properties totaling approximately 500,000 m². Our main task is to maintain our properties and ensure that the premises are functional and suitable for our tenants. We are now looking for a construction project manager for the technology and energy unit where you will be part of the construction management team.

Your Responsibilities

As a construction project manager with us, you will be involved in varied and exciting projects where you are responsible for leading construction projects of different sizes from the design phase to the management phase. Your work includes planning, organizing, and following up to ensure that projects are carried out according to contracts and within applicable laws, regulations, routines, and the region's policies.

You will keep yourself updated regarding new technologies, laws, regulations, and directives in the construction and property market.

Your Qualifications

We are looking for someone with more than 10 years of experience in the construction and property sector and more than 5 years of experience as a project/construction project manager. You should have a relevant degree at the university level, e.g., construction engineer, and/or other education or experience deemed equivalent (Region Sörmland will ultimately assess equivalence). You must be certified Bas P and have the necessary technical understanding and good knowledge of occupational safety regulations. The position requires you to be accustomed to independently and systematically driving projects while adhering to budgets and deadlines. Furthermore, you are a good communicator, both verbally and in writing, and are service- and customer-oriented. A driver's license (B) is required for the position as we manage construction projects throughout the region.

Meritorious

It is advantageous if you have previously worked on hospital projects, have expertise in contract law, and are familiar with LOU and are certified as a responsible control (K).

Employment Form

The position is a permanent full-time employment with placement in Eskilstuna, Nyköping, or Katrineholm. Start date according to agreement.
