Join Clas Ohlson and the Technical department and help develop our maintenance department as a mechanic! Are you a natural problem solver who enjoys identifying and planning maintenance actions?

Our facility currently includes a fully automated pallet crane warehouse with space for 115,000 pallets, as well as a miniload facility with storage capacity for 250,000 bins. In addition, there is an extensive conveyor system for both pallets and packages, about 30 picking stations, and a sorting department. We are constantly evolving and investing in new technology. We are a wonderful team that wants to create world-class maintenance at Clas Ohlson's distribution center in Insjön, come and be part of the team!

We are looking for a mechanic who identifies with these values and has the ability to develop and shape tomorrow's maintenance. A mechanic with us in Technical is responsible for the mechanical preventive and corrective maintenance of automation equipment to ensure operation. In collaboration with the team and other functions at the distribution center, you ensure that the work with preventive and corrective maintenance continues and develops according to planning and is otherwise helpful with tasks based on the business's needs and goals – always with the customer in focus. Who are we looking for?

You have at least a high school diploma with a focus on mechanics/workshop technology or other equivalent education/work experience deemed comparable. You need to have good experience in mechanics, preferably in areas such as hydraulics/pneumatics/transmission/preventive maintenance. We see that you are a pronounced problem solver who can independently identify and plan your work. You have good IT skills and are used to working digitally.

As a person, you are motivated and engaged in the work you perform. Precision, decisiveness, and efficiency are qualities that we value highly. You have an open and positive attitude and contribute with interest and commitment to achieve set goals together with your colleagues in your team. You are service-oriented and treat all employees with warmth and respect.

You need to hold a B driver's license and have good knowledge of Swedish in speech and writing. You also need to have good knowledge of English to work in our systems. Our internal forklift training is mandatory to work with us, and this training is conducted on-site with our instructors.

Since you will have the opportunity to work in our various functions, it is important that you are easy to collaborate with, flexible, and positively inclined to work where needed.

The working hours are scheduled for two shifts with scheduled weekend work.
