Your Responsibilities

Are you ready for the next step in logistics? We are now looking for a freight forwarder for our client in Gävle who wants to work long-term and be a central contact point in the port's flows.

In the role of freight forwarder, you will be responsible for preparing, coordinating, and following up on relevant shipping traffic from start to finish. You will plan runs and act as a central link between ships and receivers. The work is governed by legal requirements and permits, which means you will follow established routines and working methods. You will work both in the office and out in the port. The administrative parts include documentation, pilot orders, and updating information in various systems. The work in the port involves gathering current information about goods and sometimes boarding ships to ensure that shipments follow the plan. The role involves many contact points, and you will have daily dialogues with clients, receivers, and ship personnel to plan and execute shipments as efficiently as possible. The pace can be high at times, and you will often make your own decisions. You will be part of a smaller team with colleagues working on similar tasks.

The position is based in Gävle, and working hours are during the day.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who enjoys working independently and appreciates a varied everyday life where you are the one who finds solutions when unexpected situations arise. You have a high school education and previous experience in warehousing, material handling, logistics, or another area with similar tasks. The most important thing is that you have a strong desire and curiosity to learn and want to grow into the role. We will place great emphasis on your personal qualities.

As a person, you are confident, solution-oriented, and calm even when the pace increases. You find it easy to collaborate and connect with others, ensuring that you work within set frameworks. You communicate fluently in both Swedish and English and easily adapt to new systems.

Initially, you will be employed as a consultant with us at Clockwork, and for the right person, there are excellent opportunities to transition to a permanent position with the client. The assignment is long-term, and the client has an immediate need, meaning that the start will be as soon as possible.
